The art of communication

CSCA is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes communication design and a better understanding of the visual, written, and interactive arts in every facet of business, education and community.

As 2008 co-president* I established the organization’s goals and provided oversight of operations, communications, finance, awards and special events.

One of my career highlights was personally hosting guest speakers George Lange, Doyald Young, Jesse James Garrett, Vivian Rosenthal, Todd Purgason, Debbie Millman and Roger Black.

We brought back the Pinewood Derby as a fundraiser for the club. And our annual Creative Best awards show raised the bar with real-time voting for the People’s Choice from their mobile phones.
